V.V. Voevodin Prize for Best Talks

The award honors the memory of Vladimir Valentinovich Voevodin (1962–2026) — founder of the "Supercomputing Days in Russia" conference series, an outstanding scientist and organizer of scientific research, a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), a professor at Moscow State University, and a world-renowned leader of Russia’s supercomputing community.

Starting in 2026, the V.V. Voevodin Prize (hereinafter referred to as the "Prize") is presented during the "Supercomputing Days in Russia" scientific conference for the best research papers selected through a competitive process. Participation in the competition for the Prize (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") is open to all conference participants whose work was accepted as a full or short paper within the scientific sessions (the conference's main track), underwent peer review, and was presented orally at the conference.

The conference Program Committee will appoint a jury to determine the Competition winners. The jury will operate both during the conference and throughout the evaluation of Competition entries. In addition to the standard criteria for paper selection, the jury will evaluate the quality of the presentation and the talk, the speaker's scientific expertise, the quality of their responses to questions, and the speaker's contribution to the work being presented. Two Awards will be presented in 2026: the first Award is 60,000 rubles, and the second Award is 40,000 rubles.
